Members of NHS participated in a "blackout" on reading day to promote school-wide good scholarship and good character during final exams week. 

 

National Honor Society's goal for the year is to build character and leadership through service to others. 

 

In December, NHS held a food drive for the Maine Township Emergency Food Pantry. With the efforts of the students and faculty, they collected enough dry goods to help feed a family for a month.

 

NHS is heading into the new year with volunteerism!  In the first week of January, students will sort and bag books at Bernie's Book Bank and also make and serve dinner at Hephzibah Children's Home.
